We recommend registering your Cat® Power Tool before booking a repair, as registered tools qualify for the 3-year extended warranty coverage.
Registering your Cat® Power Tool helps you get the most from your warranty and makes it easier to keep your tool information on record.
Before registering, please have the following information ready:
- Proof of purchase: Your tax invoice showing the purchase date, invoice number, and retailer
- Product details: Model and serial number of your Cat® Power Tool
Tools purchased online are automatically registered and will appear in your account.
You can still book a repair if your tool has not been registered, but registering first is recommended if you want to benefit from the 3-year extended warranty coverage.
Product registration is optional. Not registering will not affect your statutory rights.

Cat® products are covered by a standard 1-year warranty. Registered products are eligible for a 2-year extended warranty (total 3 years) when registered online within 30 days of purchase.
